Get out on the water on a Private Tour with The Captain to get a taste of the culture, lifestyle and nature of our beautiful lagoon. We provide personalised experiences for individual travellers, couples, family, friends, corporate and tour groups.
When you are booking a Private Tour you choose from the following options,
- Boat size: small motorboat with up to 6 guest capacity and large motorboat with up to 10 guest capacity.
- Tour duration to suit your tour type from 2 to 4 hours.
- Departure time (6 AM to 5 PM). We like to have you back at the dock by 7 PM at the latest.
- Tour type selection from our three private tour options.
Additional Details
Captain Fernando welcomes you at our boarding dock on the historic Dutch Canal to embark on your personal tropical adventure across all the areas of our lagoon. Depending on the amount of time you would like to spend with us we will create a unique tour just for you. On the booking form you will indicate your selection from the following private motorboat tours options:
- 2-hour Northern Lagoon Tour including the Dutch Canal, fishing harbour and mangrove islands.
- 3-hour Muthurajawela Marshes Nature Reserve Tour to the wetland conservation area at the southern end of the lagoon.
- 4-hour Full Lagoon Experience Tour including Dutch Canal, northern lagoon and Muthurajawela Marshes Nature Reserve.
